Each region tailors its driving license regulations based on three things: local traffic conditions, safety standards, and legal frameworks. At Safeway Driving School, we’ll teach you how to drive the right way when you’re in Vancouver, BC.
Vancouver, BC uses a two-stage graduated licensing system. Going from a Learner’s License (Class 7L) to a Class 5 driver’s license can take at least 2 years. From a Class 5 driver’s license, you can take additional courses and classes to study and pass the necessary tests to upgrade to a Class 2-4 or a Class 1, depending on what you need.
We produce students who pass their licensing exams and walk away with a new or upgraded license.
We offer driver licensing courses for Class 5/7 to Class 1.
Learning how to drive is a scary experience. We’ll teach you how to overcome this fear and be a safe driver.
As a government-approved driving school, we certify students who enroll in our driving courses at any level, from beginner-level Class 7, Class 5, and commercial licenses from Class 4 to 1.
It depends. Preparing to get a Class 7 and Class 5 license can take a few weeks. But, learners will have to wait at least 2 years to go from Class 7L to Class 5. However, getting Class 1-4 licenses can take anywhere between 1 to 3 months depending on individual progress, your availability to attend training sessions, and the scheduling availability for the actual road test.
No, you can’t get a new driver’s license in 7 days. However, we can adjust the schedule of the driving course to take place across 7 days.
